Minsk teenager sets child on fire

A teenager was playing with an aerosol can and set fire to a 9-year-old boy, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

Last afternoon, rescuers received a message from the ambulance hospital that a child with burns was admitted to the emergency unit. The incident occurred at about 13:35 in Minsk.

The investigation showed that a 9-year-old boy was playing in the yard when a strange teenager with an aerosol can approached him. The teenager then pointed the spray can at the child and lit the lighter while spraying gas.

Passers-by called an ambulance. After the examination, the injured child was hospitalized with a hip burn.

The police are looking into the matter.
