Hundreds of people attend pickets of Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya in Baranavichy and Haradok


About 350 people came to the rally in Baranavichy and 250 in Haradok.

About 250 people gathered for a rally of Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya in Haradok, a small town near Vitsebsk. In total, about 12 thousand people live in the town.

Visitors singing songs, shouting slogans “Lukashenka, go away!”, “Believe me, we can win”. Tatsiana Seviarynets, trustee of Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya, read out an official address to other candidates: Andrei Dzmitryeu, Hanna Kanapatskaya and Syarhei Cherachan to withdraw from the election.

They reminded people of the importance of coming and voting in the elections on August 9, urged to use the platform Voice.

In Baranavichy, about 350 people came to the rally (about 150 thousand people live in the city). Speakers spoke about unification to defeat the dictatorship in Belarus, believing in the victory of Tsikhanouskaya and demanding the release of all political prisoners.

“Long live Belarus!”, “Freedom for all political prisoners” and “Svyatlana is our president,” were heard in the park, Belsat reports.

Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya was not present at both rallies. Her trustees spoke instead of her.
