A gold medal auctioned off by Belarusian track and field athlete Nadzeya Astapchuk.

The famous Belarusian shot putter Nadzeya Astapchuk has put up her gold medal of the European Championship-2005 for a charity auction. She wrote about it in her Facebook.
“You may not be an athlete, but you must be human,” wrote Astapchuk.
It is symbolic that the track and field athlete announced the auction exactly 16 years from the day she won that gold medal. The funds from its sale will be transferred to the Belarusian Fund of Sports Solidarity. You can place your bid till March 15.
