The purchase of Russian oil at Belarusian refineries is done at the increased price due to the tax maneuver, the Interfax news agency learned from the Belneftekhim concern.
“Oil deliveries are proceeding regularly: the refineries are contracted, the price is adjusted to the tax maneuver,” a concern representative said.
This year, Belarusian refineries plan to buy 18 million tons of oil in Russia – this is on the level of the previous year. As a result of the so-called tax maneuver, oil for Belarus will rise in proportion to the reduction of the Russian export duty. According to experts, the loss for Belarus in the next five years will exceed $ 10 billion.
Last time the heads of Russia and Belarus discussed this issue in Moscow was on December 29, the results of the meeting between Lukashenka and Putin are still unknown.
Before that, the leaders of the countries met on December 25 in an expanded format — with the participation of the governments of the two countries. In exchange for compensation for the tax maneuver, Moscow demanded that Minsk deepen integration within the framework of the Union State.
