350K foreigners have used Belarusian visa-free regime


Since January 2017, when a visa-free regime was introduced, over 350 thousand people from 70 countries have visited Belarus without visas, the press service of the Sports Ministry reports.

Since November 10, 2019, when the Brest – Hrodna visa-free zone appeared, more than 31 thousand people from 42 countries have used visa-free entry to the region.

At the end of last year, 4 million 924 thousand foreigners visited Belarus. At the same time, the number of foreign citizens who use a visa-free zone, is increasing. Since the launch of the visa-free regime in 2017, more than 350 thousand tourists have visited Belarus without visas. In 2019, their number increased by 40.3% compared to 2018.
