Department of Internal Affairs of the Vitsebsk Oblast Executive Committee is proud of Syarhei Batalka, but it is not so simple on the video.
According to the Vitsebsk police department, on 2 March, the policeman kept school student from “being hit by a car”. The official youtube-channel of the Belarusian Interior Ministry published a video recorded on a dashboard camera of the witnesses.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2ry_uLIP30″][vc_column_text]The record shows the boy cross the road on the zebra crossing, followed by a man in the uniform (policeman Batalka), who, after noticing a car coming to overtake on the left lane, pulled the student by the collar back and took the hit. Perhaps if Batalka did not intervene, the accident could have been avoided, which does not excuse the driver of the car, who probably broke the speed limit and hit them.
