On April 2, the Health Ministry has updated the information on the number of the persons who contracted COVID-19.
“At the moment, 254 people are being treated in hospitals, their being infected with the coronavirus is confirmed. In most cases, the disease occurs in its mild or moderate form. Eleven patients need artificial lung ventilation,” the statement reads.
46 coronavirus-infected persons who were undergoing treatment in Belarus have already been discharged from hospitals, the press service says. Thus, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases has totalled to 304.
9,299 people are under medical supervision.
On April 2, the ministry have confirmed four deaths caused by COVID-19.
