"BPF Youth" proposed to ban Zhirinovsky from entering Belarus

Activists of the youth organization of the Belarusian Popular Front have made a number of statements regarding the comments of the Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky about Belarus, svaboda.org reports.

Maksim Solad, “BPF Youth” activist from Brest, has appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus with a demand to give a legal assessment of the statements by the Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky against Belarus and to consider banning him from entering Belarus. Maksim believes that the statement made by the deputy of the State Duma violates the territorial integrity and independence of Belarus.

The activist from Brest pointed out that the statements, which cast doubt on the independence of Belarus, have been made by Zhirinovsky before.

During his speech at the Congress of the Liberal Democratic Party, on February 4 Saturday, Mr Zhirinovsky made a number of remarks about Belarus.
