Minsk: Solidarity chain and mass detentions (photo report)

Thursday’s solidarity rally which started in Minsk at 6 pm has ended with mass detentions.

As of 11 pm (Minsk time), there were 212 persons on the human rights defenders’ list of the detainees in the Belarusian capital on August, 27; information being constantly updated. Among others, dozens of journalists were grabbed by the police, including those working for foreign media.
