Being eager to highlight the problem, a group of eco-activists filled a retro bus to the top with the same number of bottles.

Near the bus, the activists set up a makeshift bus stop named Dead End (Kastrychnitskaya Street). The information plate contained the information about the Belarusians annually throwing away a billion PET bottles.

The activists also stressed that plastic stuff takes 500 years to decompose. They alo called on passers-by to use eco-friendly tableware and sort waste.

In September, the eco-activists staged the event Goodbye Plastic Bag.
