Mother of two underage children detained in Mazyr

The official reason for the detention of Iryna Harashyna was the alleged “data leakage” to the police, reports the HRC “Viasna.”

She was summoned to the police to give back her cell phone, but she was eventually detained by employees of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime. A criminal case was filed against Iryna on illegal actions against private information and personal data.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, last September, in one of the Telegram channels, which was later recognized as extremist, Iryna published personal data of police officers and posted calls for protest activities.

Iryna, 35, has two minor children.
