Pavel Latushka says Kyiv too cautious with Lukashenka

Head of the National anti-crisis management Pavel Latushka believes that Kyiv is too cautious about Lukashenka’s regime. He stated this on the air of Belsat TV.

Commenting on the information that hackers, associated with the special services of Belarus, were behind the cyberattack on the websites of Ukrainian ministries and departments, Pavel Latushka said:

“In terms of the new philosophy of wars – this is a hybrid attack, hybrid aggression, an element of hybrid warfare. It should lead to consequences. Every country has the right to defend itself, to impose retaliatory measures – sanctions”.

According to Latushka, “Lukashenka is actually mocking Ukraine now,” and Ukrainian politicians are doing nothing.

“This is exactly the philosophy of ‘appeasing the aggressor.’ I understand that they don’t want to have a second line of attack from Belarus, but they already have one. They are just like an ostrich trying to hide their head in the sand … No, they understand everything but do not take any steps in response. This is a wrong policy,” he stressed.

Latushka reminded that the “appeasement of aggressor” policy led to the beginning of World War II. The NAM head believes that official Kyiv should start acting and be in solidarity with the Belarusian democratic community.
