Lukashenka wants to leave the Kazakh way

Alyaksandr Lukashenka wants to head the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly. He has again spoken about his plans to leave the presidency for the “new generation,” BelTA informs.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka wishes to delegate the formation of the Constitutional Court, the appointment of the chairman of the Supreme Court, the declaration of war and peace, impeachment, sending the military outside Belarus, the formation of the Central Election Commission to the authority of the APA. There may be more powers on the list.

This is not the first time Lukashenka has spoken about his intention to leave the presidential office. For example, on August 9, 2021, he announced that he would leave office “very soon,” but he did not name any specific dates.
