Former Belarusian Ambassador to Slovakia Ihar Lyashchenia, who was detained the other day, is being investigated for involvement in acts of gross violation of public order, reports Interfax-West.
The Investigative Committee has opened an inquiry into the involvement of ex-diplomat Ihar Lyaschenya in the mass disturbances.
“The administration of the Investigative Committee of Minsk city is investigating the criminal case of the riots, which occurred in the capital. Investigators are checking the involvement of Ihar Lyashchenia in committing acts of gross violation of public order,” said the official representative of the Investigative Committee for Minsk Katsyaryna Harlinskaya.
According to the official sources, investigative actions are currently conducted involving the detainee.
Ihar Lyaschenya, former Belarusian ambassador to Slovakia, was detained the other day. He is currently in the temporary detention center in Akrestsin street.
