When being to Brest emergency care hospital, Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s supporter slapped a doctor in the face. A video of the incident appeared on social media.

The elderly man showered insults on the doctor; the latter did not respond.

“You jerk, you were against Lukashenka yesterday. And today you are a doctor!” he said shortly before attacking the medical worker. As a result, the man’s glasses flew off.

A policeman turned out to be witnessing the gruesome scene; after the blow, he took the attacker away, saying: “Well, enough, enough.” According to TUT.BY, the offender’s name is Mikalai V., he is a a 55-year-old former warrant officer who now works as a school driver. On January 5, he got drunk, fell down at a bus stop and injured his head. Notably, riot policemen did not detain him, but called an ambulance which took him to the hospital.

“I am for the current government, for our president. What else could those [protesters] ask for? We do live normally!” the man believes.

Mikalai knows that the video has already gone viral on the Belarusian segment of the Internet. “Of course, I am now ashamed and embarrassed, but it is what it is,” he told TUT.BY.

He will never switch sides, Lukashenka’s passionate proponent added.
