‘To Berlin!’: Pro-Putin motorheads up to hold another rally through Belarus, Poland
The notorious Russian motorcycle club ‘The Night Wolves’ has announced their intention to hold the third motor rally ‘To Berlin!’
According to the organizers, about 20,000 persons are expected to join the rally on different sections of the route. They are set to get to Berlin on May 9, Russia’s Victory Day, and ‘pay tribute to the soldiers who won a victory over Nazi Germany’.
This year, the ‘wolves’ from Chechnya and the separatist-controlled part of Donbas are likely to take part in the rally. This decision was made by the head of The Night Wolves and president Putin’s close friend Alexander ‘Surgeon’ Zaldostanov during his recent visit to Grozny. According to ChechnyaTODAY.com, the representatives of the separatist republics of Donbas would show up at the rally as well.
Last year, the Night Wolves were denied entry to Poland in early May. They had to return to Belarus and share their impressions with journalists instead.
When Belsat TV contributor Ales Lyauchuk said the USSR was Hitler’s ally at the beginning of the Second World War and referred to the Nazi-Soviet Pact signed in August 1939, Alexander Zaldostanov could not come up with any sensible answer and pushed Mr Lyauchuk away saying ‘Bugger off!’.
‘The Night Wolves’ were not allowed to pass through Poland in 2015 as well. According to the Polish side, the participants threatened the security of the European Union.

The Wolves are vocal supporters of Putin’s intervention in Ukraine and co-organisers of Antimaidan in Russia.
As reported earlier, Russian military equipment amateurs are about to hold an armoured vehicle run on the anniversary of Nazi Germany’s attack on the USSR. Russia’s Military and Technical Society wants the race to take place on the route Moscow-Brest on June 17-24.
