“It is important that they be aware that Russia is a land of opportunity for them — not only for business, but also for a political career. I believe that we need to more actively welcome the appearance of Belarusian managers in various sectors of our life,” said the parliamentarian.
Vladimir Gutenev stated that the Belarusian side had already had a number of specific proposals in its hands for a long time.
“We are like neighbors who live on the same staircase. You can have a good relationship with your neighbor, invite him in on holidays, give presents, but have a separate counter and an entrance door, which is locked to everyone with his own key, although there is a common wall. We are interested not to have water leaking from above. Or there could be an understanding that we live in a common apartment and together pay utility bills,” said Gutenev.
