Russia imposes restrictions on supply of Belarusian products

On January 25, the Rosselkhoznadzor imposed temporary restrictions on deliveries from Agrokombinat Kolos, MPP Gorodeya, Vikas, Imperiya-2009 and Slonim Meat-Processing Plant.

Restrictions were imposed due to the presence of coccidia treatment drugs in poultry meat and antibiotics in beef, the website of the Russian body reports.

Rosselkhoznadzor also introduced enhanced laboratory control for the products of Barysau Meat Processing Plant No. 1, Koopzagotpromtorg of the Pastavy Raypo, Dzyarzhynsk Agricultural Plant, Luninets Sausage and others.

The Russian Phytosanitary Inspection Service reports that the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs has introduced the status “temporarily restricted” for nine Belarusian enterprises that have repeatedly violated the sanitary and veterinary standards of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Russian Federation.
