People detained for carrying flowers at Women's Demarche

On November 7, the Women’s March was supposed to take place in Minsk, but its participants began to be detained even before the action started.

Traditionally, in the last three months in Belarus, Saturday has been considered a women’s day, but this time the security forces did everything to prevent the participants of the march from even getting together.

Men in black and balaclavas simply detained women walking along the avenue with flowers and tree leaves.

Meanwhile, separate women with white-red-white umbrellas reportedly walked the streets of Zhodzina.

Earlier the security forces detained the doctors who were also heading to their rally. At the moment, at least 57 people were detained.
