Pedestrian crossing costing over 20K USD installed in Vitsebsk

The first LED pedestrian crossing has been installed in Vitsebsk. The cost of the new crossing is 41 thousand BYN.

The LED “zebra” consists of two four-meter lines, which change its color depending on the traffic light signal. The crossing was installed in the very center of the city — on the way from the Summer Amphitheater to the cafe “Bulbianaya”. The new crossing was assembled just before the ‘Slavyanski Bazaar,’ which will officially started on July 12. All works were carried out at the expense of the local budget and cost the city 41 thousand Belarusian rubles.

The intersection of Lenin street and Frunze avenue has four junctions. However, only one of them has received the LED crossing.
