Poroshenko orders to investigate Sharamet murder


President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced in his Twitter account that he had instructed law enforcement agencies to immediately investigate the murder of journalist Pavel Sharamet.

“The Kyiv tragedy is terrible. Shock – I have no other words. I knew Pavel personally. My sympathies to all the family and friends,” wrote the head of Ukraine in the social networks.

An hour later, Petro Poroshenko posted a message stating that he had instructed law enforcement agencies to immediately investigate the crime. “The guilty must be punished,” wrote Poroshenko.

Pavel Sheremet died in Kyiv explosion on 20 July. The car Pavel Sharamet was driving had an explosive device installed in it. The car exploded at 7:45 am local time after Sharamet left the house and drove a few tens of meters.
