Heads and representatives of diplomatic missions have joined a poetic initiative.
Diplomats from Sweden, Kyrgyzstan, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Finland read the works of Belarusian authors to support the participants of the contest ‘We Are Reading In Belarusian with Velcom’. Ambassadors and advisors admitted that gladly supported the project.
“I was happy to participate in the initiative which promotes the Belarusian literature. It was one of my first experiences with the heritage of Belarusian poets and writers. I can say that I have good impressions and a real interest in the project,” said Swedish Ambassador Christina Johannesson, who read Venus Star by Maksim Bahdanovich.

The contest is held with the support of the Ministry of Education of Belarus and will last until December 20, 2017.
To take part in the competition, you need to film youself reading some piece of the Belarusian literature, publish the video on social networks with the hashtag #чытаемзвэлком or #чытаемзvelcom and then send a link to the post to movakonkurs@gmail.com.
