Alyaksandr Lukashenka made a very emotional speech at a pro-government rally outside the Government House.

Lukashenka said that there can’t be more than 80% of falsifications at the presidential elections. He said that they want to “weaken us” with the new elections, as only bandits will go there. “If we go to the election — we’ll die. And this is what they want abroad,” he said.

According to Lukashenka, he didn’t need any brutality in the streets. “We had to stop them,” he added.

“We have built a beautiful country with you, for all the difficulties, for all the shortcomings. To whom did you decide to give it? If someone wants to give up the country, even if I am dead, I will not allow it,” stressed Lukashenka.

Lukashenka warned that people can protect themselves and their land. “We have neither friends nor supporters. Everyone wants us to get down on our knees. We won’t!” he added.

“I am a realist. They won’t give us a quiet life. Even if they calm down now, they’ll crawl out of their holes like rats after a while. They’re already run by strangers. They see the western borders of Belarus here near Minsk, like in 1939. It’s not going to happen. We’ll all become the Brest Fortress, but we won’t give up the country,” stressed Lukashenka.
