A resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus was adopted on January 19, 2019 No. 36 to increase the level of remuneration in the spheres of education and health care. The document provides for differential wage growth for certain categories of workers in these areas.
This resolution provides, from January 1, 2019,for the establishment of allowances for teaching staff.As much as 5 percent of the planned payroll will be used for these purposes. It also provides for an increase in the salaries of assistant tutors (from 20 to 25%) and additional payments to specialist doctors (from 20 to 24% of salary), medical workers who have specialized secondary education (from 13 to 16% of salary); additional payments to pharmaceutical workers with secondary specialized education (in the amount of 1%).
The Ministry of Education is in charge of taking measures to implement this regulation.
