Dreadful take: Russian fishermen net 52 human hands


52 human hands were taken out of the Amur River.

Fragments of human bodies landed up in the river due to violation of the rules of medical waste disposal by forensic investigator, lenta.ru reports with reference to a source in Russian law enforcement agencies.

In Russia, if a body is unindetified, hands are cut off in the mortuary so that fingerprints could be lifted and then looked for in the database.

As required by Russian law, medical waste are to be utilized in accordance with sanitary regulations.
