Thirty-three year-old driver and 26-year-old passenger of Citroen, as well as a 20-year-old resident of Homel, who drove a Rover died as a result of a traffic accident, which occurred on May 14th, the Investigative Committee reports.
The accident happened after the driver of Rover drove into the oncoming traffic lane. His car collided with the Citroen. Almost all Citroen passengers and the Rover driver were killed.
It is known that the dead passengers of Citroen, 33-year-old and 26-year-old M. and V., were documentary filmmakers, who worked in Homiel on May 14th. They were filming volunteers’ work in hospitals. Another passenger of Citroen is in intensive care. That day was her birthday.
A criminal investigation was launched under Part 3 of the Article 317 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules, resulting in the death of three people by negligence).
