Deported from Belarus: Another defendant in 'Moscow case' arrested


22-year-old Nikita Chirtsov who was put on the wanted list after a protest on July 27, has been arrested in Moscow, OVD-info reports.

He was taken to the police station of Presnensky district. The man is accused of putting the arm against an officer.

As reported earlier, Belarus deported Chirtsov on August, 30. A few days earlier, he was detained in Minsk.

On July 27, protests in support of independent candidates in the Moscow City Duma elections were held in Moscow. 1,373 people were detained at the protests. Three days after the rally, the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated a criminal case over mass riots that involves 13 defendants. Four persons are suspected of the use of violence against the authorities.
