Belsat wins Global Belarusian Solidarity Award

The Center for Belarusian Solidarity held the presentation of the Global Belarusian Solidarity Award. Anyone could vote for nominees.

There were ten nominations. Belsat TV channel won in the category for foreign media “Without Borders”.

The list of winners is as follows:

  • “Melted Ice” – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius
  • “Creating the Impossible” – volunteers from Akrestsina and Zhodzina prisons.
  • “View from the outside” – Russian blogger Maxim Katz
  • “Without Borders” by Belsat
  • “Telegram for You” – NEXTA Telegram Channel
  • “Voice of Reason” – analyst Syarhei Chaly
  • “Creative Resistance” – Courtyard Concerts
  • “With Faith in My Heart” – Catholic Metropolitan Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz
  • “Deed” – politician Maryia Kalesnikava
  • “Laughter Through Tears” – Syarhei Mironau, better known as “Khlopatnaye Dzeltse”

    “The award could have gone to almost anyone of you. It doesn’t matter whether you drew ‘Sasha 3%’ on a Tabakerka kiosk, went to a rally, or simply wrote posts on social networks – your deed matters,” the presenters of the ceremony said.

The awarding ceremony was held under the patronage of Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
