On Friday afternoon, Belsat started receiving reports about the ongoing detentions of popular bloggers.
The security forces grabbed blogger Mikhail Tsyhankou aka Gypsynkov. The man became famous for his witty posts and timeous jokes about social and political issues in Belarus. The details of the detention are not yet known. The blogger has almost 11.5K followers on Twitter.
According to human rights defenders, some more bloggers having thousands subscribers have been detained today. Their names are being specified.
