Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree which enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against two Belarusian companies.

Minsk companies Life Group (distributor of Belarusian cosmetic brands) and Acme Cosmetics Group (manufacturer of perfumes and cosmetics) have fallen under the restrictions. They have a large office to promote Belarusian products in the Ukrainian market, reports Radio Liberty.

Now all their assets will be blocked in Ukraine, trade operations will be completely suspended, licenses will be revoked and participation in tenders for the purchase of goods and services will be prohibited.

In May 2018, the first two Belarusian companies – the Minsk-based JSC Mir Piva, which traded with the self-proclaimed DNR, and the Mozyr Distillery – fell under similar sanctions for three years.
