Cuban Robert Valdes Casanueva said goodbye to his son before his forced deportation from Belarus at Minsk airport.
The 55-year-old Cuban has lived in Belarus for 30 years, he has a family and three children. He was detained during a march on November 8 last year. Later he was sentenced to 15 days in jail but was never released.
The man spent over a year in jail, awaiting deportation. On November 10, he was deported to Cuba.
