Number of Minsk registered unemployed up 20%

According to the Central Statistical Office in Minsk, at the end of June the number of registered unemployed in the capital amounted to 7.7 thousand people.

The number of such people at the end of June 2015 was 6.4 thousand. It means that it is now 20% higher.

The registered unemployment rate at the end of June 2016 amounted to 0.7% of the economically active population (a year ago it was 0.6%, at end-June 2014 – 0.1%).
