Slavamir Adamovich out of mental hospital

Poet Slavamir Adamovich, who had been detained a few days ago in Budslau was forcibly taken to a medical examination at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Mental Health. As Adamovich told Belsat, after the consultation in Navinki, he was released without a protocol.

“I have no papers today regarding my detention. I was released without any explanation or paper about my whereabouts for two and a half days. The only thing I am satisfied with is that at least they did not say I was mad,” the poet told Belsat.

Adamovich was detained on July 1 in Budslau during the annual festival in honor of the Mother of God of Budslau. The poet had come to visit the grave of his grandfather. After he refused to give his belongings for inspection to persons in civilian clothes, he was seized by police and taken to the Navinki psychiatric institution.
