September: One train to connect four capitals, including Minsk

On September 28, the train Kyiv – Minsk – Vilnius – Riga will start running, Ukraine’s Infrastructure Ministry reported on Tuesday.

In April, Deputy Infrastructure Minister Yury Lavrenyuk said that the price for travelling from Kyiv to Riga travelling in a sleeper would cost about 1,855 hryvnias (€59); such trip would last around 15 hours, including border crossing. The train will depart from Kyiv at about 15:00 and arrive in Riga about 6:00 the next day.

As of early April, Ukrainian railway purchased 28 new passenger cars for this train.
