The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe postponed the debate on the case of Ukrainian Nadiya Savchenko from the first day of the session to April 21.
People’s deputy of Ukraine Vladimir Oriev, Chairman of Ukrainian permanent delegation to PACE, wrote it on Facebook.
“PACE postponed debate on Savchenko until Thursday. A special part of the report will be dedicated to prisoners. We will not forget other Ukrainian prisoners of Kremlin,” he said.
PACE spring session was to begin with a thorough discussion of the fate of Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko, who began on April 5 a hunger strike in protest against the court decision. On April 16, she agreed to a drip.
