A video on the Sektant\Live it up YouTube channel shows two young men climb to the roof of a 12-storey “Zorka” hotel located in the south-west of Minsk.
One of the men in the video is a Minsk skywalker called Pasha AKA Sektant, member of the Minsk extreme sports team ‘Live it up’.
The actions of young people have caught interest of the law enforcement.
“Police cannot leave them unattended. Firstly, this hobby is dangerous and often leads to death of teenagers. Secondly, excited young people get into places where their presence is, to put it mildly, not desirable. Again, who can guarantee that young people do not get into the people’s apartment with the purpose to steal something? I want to note that we have just arrested a group of young people with such extreme hobbies. Now we are checking their involvement in certain offenses,” press secretary of Minsk police lieutenant colonel Alyaksandr Lastouski told tut.by.
Four men were detained in Minsk a few days a go for secretly getting to the roof of the Minsk GUM to take photos. The oldest one is 24. Three young men were Belarusians, and one more was from Russia. All of them are students except one who was expelled from the university for academic failure.
