New hunting rules: foreigners can hunt twice as long as Belarusians

Lukashenka “improves” the rules of hunting.

Decree No. 112 will come into force in six months, but the rules of spring hunting are already in force. Now, instead of 28 days, foreign visitors can hunt in Belarus continuously for two spring months. They also had the transportation of weapons and ammunition, registration of documents when buying hunting tours to Belarus simplified for them.

Belarusians can for hunt 28 hunting days (instead of 28 calendar days).

In addition, the list of animals and birds for hunting has been increased. To four kinds of geese and a male of seven species of ducks there were added several more species including the white heron, which was recently expelled from the Red Book.

In addition, the mechanism of transferring hunting grounds to legal entities is now greatly simplified: the maximum lease term has been increased to 20 years.

According to Alyaksandr Vincheuski, the director of the “Protection of the Birds of the Fatherland”, throughout the whole of Europe spring hunting for birds is prohibited, except for Russia, where it is reduced to 10 days, and Malta (1 species).
