A man armed with a knife attacked a picket of the potential parliamentary candidate, deputy chairman of the movement “For Freedom” Yury Hubarevich damaging a white-red-white flag. Deputy Chairman of the movement “For Freedom” was gathering signatures on Hinauta Street in Minsk.
According to Yury Hubarevich, the man approached the picket twice. First, he asked what structure the politician represented. On another occasion, he returned with a knife or some other sharp object, and with the words “I’ll use it for rags” cut flag.
“This way people fooled by the local and Russian propaganda are looking for simple ways to vent their aggression,” said the politician.
This is the third time during this election campaign that his picket was attacked. On July 10, the police detained the hooligans who attacked the picketers with fists.
