Feel at home? Russia to hold Victory Day parade in Syria (video)

A video of Russian troops rehearsing for a Victory Day parade in Syria’s Latakia appeared on the Internet.

According to the Russian side, holding a military parade will prove the existence of unbreakable friendly relations between Russia and Syria. The Syrian military loyal to basher al-Assad will also participate in the parade at the airbase where Russian troops are deployed.

During the training session the Flag of Victory and Russia’s tricolour were demonstrated, then a column of military equipment – Tiger armored cars, BTR-80A and BTR-82 APCs, D-30 howitzers, Uran-9 robotic systems – moved across the airfield.
