In the run-up to the International Women’s Day, Minsk Zoo has launched an unusual online competition.
To participate in it, one should subscribe to its page on VKontakte or minsk_zoo_official on Instagram, take a picture of a wife, girlfriend or female acquaintance, say to which inhabitant of the zoo she bears a close resemblance to and upload the photo to the Beauty Is Powerful Force album on VKontakte or Instagram.
It is not the first time such an event is being held; not a single participant has ever been offended or insulted, a representative of the Zoo told belsat.eu.
“According to the conditions, the competition is of humorous nature. We have already received our first contestants’ photos, by the moment, there are not many of them. For example, someone compared a woman to a lioness. Last year the competition had the title Ugly Women Do Not Exist. People compared women to the most ‘ugly’ inhabitants of the Zoo. If anyone is afraid, they will not send anything.”
The results will be announced on March, 11. The main criterion is ‘strong resemblance’. The prize is a zoo ticket for two persons.
