Belarusian media create negative image of Russia – pro-Kremlin news agency


Russian news agency RIANovosti claims that the Belarusian media write articles about Russia in a ‘moderately negative’ tone.

Most Western countries report on Russia in the same tone, ria.ru says

According to the media survey, Lithuania covers events in Russia is better than Belarus – Lithuanian media take a neutral stance, they say. The ‘neutrality’ list also includes Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy and the Balkan Peninsula countries. The journalists of three countries – Ukraine, Sweden and Colombia – are ‘the worst’ critics of Russia, the Kremlin mouthpiece states.
