Alyaksandr Lukashenka: Foul mood, nasty Belarusians


The Belarusian president was not radiating optimism during Friday’s visit to Orsha Linen Mill.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka showed his dissatisfaction at the way and pace of modernizing the enterprise modernization. According to him, the process is still inefficient.

“By the moment the major impression I have got that we are nasty people. We should love our country. And love must be expressed in deed, not in name and babble,” he said.

Now 60-70% of short flax fiber the desired ‘income, efficiency and profit’, he complained.

“One would think: why am I being in such foul mood? Because we don’t care a dime,” Lukashenka stressed.

In his opinion, Belarus’ linen industry might become twice as much efficient in a few years.
