Alyaksandr Lukashenka is going to see Vladimir Putin again, the Russian newspaper Kommersant reports with reference to its own sources in Moscow and Minsk.

Another meeting of the two leaders is to take place in late May in Russia, but its venue has not yet been revealed. Their first meeting in 2021 was arranged on February 22 in Sochi, and the second – on April 22 in Moscow. In both cases the negotiations were held behind closed doors; the reports about their results were neither lengthy nor nuanced.

Kommersant’s sources put down such amazing regularity to the fact that Russia and Belarus intend to complete their work on all integration roadmaps which are now called ‘union programmes’.

On May 9, Lukashenka’s press service made mention of the upcoming meeting as well.
