Political prisoner, philosopher Uladzimir Matskevich was transferred to the detention center in Valadarskaha Street in Minsk, political scientist Andrei Yahorau reported on Facebook.
“Uladzimir Matskevich was transferred to the Valadarka prison. This means arrest. He must be charged within 10 days. So far, he is a suspect under part 1 of Article 342. (“Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order”),” said Yahorau.
Methodologist and philosopher Uladzimir Matskevich was detained on August 4. His home was also searched by the KGB.
At the same time, his associates – sociologist Tatsyana Vadalazhskaya and the former head of “EuroBelarus” Ulad Vyalichka, were detained and later released.
