Among the “disarmed” are killed, wounded, and captured Russians. The Russian army had a total of 145,000 ground troops, including 110,000 ground troops and 35,000 policemen (OMON, SOBR, Rosgvardia) at the time of the invasion on February 24.

The grouping of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine has up to 100,000 men (75,000 soldiers and up to 25,000 police officers). Russian losses are estimated at 11,000 killed and 30,000-35,000 wounded.

Andriy Zahorodniuk added that according to U.S. satellite intelligence, as of March 5, the Kremlin has already sent 90 percent of its available forces into the operation in Ukraine.

Will there be a surprise?

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Ministry head Oleksiy Reznikov said there has been significant progress on the arms and ammunition supplies to the country and promised Russia a “surprise.”

“I will not comment on the supply of weapons and ammunition — this is a sensitive point. Let the enemy have a surprise. But there is significant progress,” the minister wrote on Facebook.

According to him, more than 50 thousand helmets and body armor have been already delivered, contracted, or on the way to Ukraine in the last three days.
