Homiel officials repaired the hospital after the publication of the video on Youtube.
On June 5, a renovated unit of the rayon hospital was opened in the village of Aktsyabrski. Chairman of the executive committee thanked the people and organizations who participated in the repair, but, unfortunately, did not mention the two locals Andrei Pavuk and Viktar Puzyryna. The boys did not give the money for repairs or participate in the cleaning, but, according to the medical staff, because of their activity the long-awaited repair the children’s department started.

In late 2014, the daughter of Mr Puzyrin got into the rayon hospital. When her father saw the conditions in which the children were treated, he was shocked. He then decided with his friend, a local poet and activist Andrei Pavuk, to make a video about the disastrous state of the children’s unit.
It was said and done. The video was posted online. In a short while, the video had more than 600 views and a heated discussion in the comments. As a result, officials began to act, and the repair process started.
“Here’s an example, says Andrei Pavuk, when an initiative of one man solves the problem. And if everyone could do the same, they would consider us.”
