Berlin. The first episode of the Belsat series received two film awards


The first episode of the Belsat series “Processes” won two statuettes of the Belarusian Film Critics Award Red Heather. The ceremony took place in Berlin.

The award for best actor went to Andrei Novik, who played the role of an OMON special forces officer in the first episode of the series “Processes”. The award for the best script went to the series’ creators, Andrei Kashperski and Mikhail Zuy.

The awards ceremony was held at the Gropius Bau Cinema during the European Film Market of the Berlin International Film Festival.

The Red Heather jury included 16 experts: organizers, journalists, film critics, film historians, film bloggers, and film researchers.

It is not the first award that the series “Processes” received. Previously, it won a special award at the Northern and Baltic Countries Film Festival “Northern Lights” and took second place at the American festival Fantastic Fest 2023.
