15 days in custody for wetting Lenin with valerian

Today Uladzimir Yaromenak, the only person detained near the House of Government, has appeared before the court.

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the October revolution Young front activists poured valerian over the monument to Lenin in Minsk. It is noteworthy that a year ago the monument came through egg-bombarding.

According to the action holders, in such a manner they attempted to encourage all cats of the neighbourhood to come to the statue to the tyrant and “express their feelings”.

Today Uladzimir Yaromenak, the only participant detained near the House of Government, has appeared before the court.

It did not take much time to sentence Yaromenak to 15 days in arrest for administrative violation.
