UNICEF is not the only organisation that is raising money to help Belarusian medics. Its office in Belarus has joined forces with the local campaign #BYCOVID19.

As we have a list of products that medical professionals need and #BYCOVID19 logixtic volunteer network, our provision of assistance to medics will be accurate, relevant and timely,” campaign coordinator Andrey Stryzhak said on Facebook.
Cooperation with various community initiatives will help to do more for Belarusian doctors, UNICEF officers stress:
“In the current situation, mutual competition may result in the coronavirus’ defeating human beings. Therefore, we are ready to use every opportunity to work together with initiatives that make a point of backing doctors and patients.”
