The music video shows animated animals that were depicted on independent Belarus’ first currency notes which were commonly called ‘zaychyki’ (rabbits).
The author also showed the inflation figures in the past, e.g. in 1992 inflation reached 1,997%, in 2011 – 108%. At the end of the video the number 237,595,925 % appears – by this much has the Belarusian ruble been devaluated over the 20 years of its existence.
The recent redenomination has deprived the Belarusian ruble of four zeros.
Belarus is the leader by the number of redenominations in the former Soviet countries.
